This month’s banned book is Beloved by Toni Morrison! It is set directly after the Civil War and follows Sethe, a formerly enslaved woman, and her daughter Denver. Their house is haunted by the spirit of Sethe’s deceased child, who died while they were enslaved. When a mysterious stranger arrives, they accidentally invite in more than they bargained for.
